Red Box today announces the successful completion of certification testing to gain Airwave Network Connection Certification for Remote MCC7500 Archiving Interface Server (AIS).  The new certification is designed to confirm that a third party provider complies with Airwave’s interface specifications and robust security requirements for voice communications.

The achievement bolsters Red Box’s integration with the Airwave network and confirms Red Box is fully-compliant in the recording and export of voice and data across the AIS connectivity platform when used by emergency services and public safety organisations moving to the DIMETRA Dispatch Communication Server (DCS) interface for control room voice. It ensures that emergency service dispatchers have access to best-in-class audio, metadata recording and export via the AIS, allowing them to better coordinate responses and communicate mission-critical information which can then be used to reconstruct events for evidence gathering and improve quality and training procedures.

“This achievement, the first in the U.K., is another major step in supporting the Public Safety sector and is a key enabler for our first project with a major U.K. emergency services organisation. We are extremely proud of this certification and what it means for supporting emergency services with their transformation journeys.”
