Whilst Red Box has now announced the limited release of its next generation enterprise platform (Conversa), Quantify remains vital to the product portfolio and strategy and a critical factor in the company’s revenue growth strategy.
At what is a very exciting time in the company’s evolution, we are looking for an experienced and passionate Product Manager for Quantify to support the business in delivering ongoing product success from our key platform.
Department Description
The Red Box Product function drives the product strategy and portfolio. The team leads the inception, rollout and ongoing management of both Quantify and Conversa platforms and associated components and applications, creating customer value and supporting the company’s objectives. The team furthers the definition and growth of the products in their market and works cross functionally to identify, define and support new product propositions and to ensure full market readiness for launch.
Role Description
An experienced Product Manager is required to drive the product roadmap and release cycle for Quantify managing products and propositions from inception to launch and in-life management. The Product Manager, Quantify represents the voice of the ‘ideal’ Quantify customer, delivering products and features that provide business success and continually meet customer needs in terms of feature fit and user experience.
Reporting Line
This role reports to the Head of Product.
Primary Responsibilities
- Define and drive the product roadmap and release cycle for Quantify, in line with the Red Box product strategy and vision
- Innovate in relation to the Quantify portfolio in order to drive ongoing competitive advantage
- Work with Red Box sales, customers and resellers to represent the voice of the customer
- Own the product lifecycle for Quantify managing new products and propositions from inception to launch and ongoing in-life management
- Maintain a strong understanding of competitor products and propositions
- Maintain the product backlog for Quantify and associated components, working with relevant Red Box team members to assess new feature requests
- Work cross functionally with strong attention to detail to build and own the project plan for release and to ensure that Red Box functions execute on their required deliverables
- Be the key product subject matter expert for Quantify, internally and with customers and partners
- Work with other members of the Product team to engage with telephony partners in lab set up, partner programme management and upgrade
- Work closely with the Head of Development to ensure that scrum teams have the necessary product input to execute on Quantify sprint goals
- Work with other relevant Red Box Product/Partner Managers to ensure that new partner releases that affect Quantify operability and/or Red Box partner obligations are scheduled into the roadmap release plans
- Use data to define product and feature usage
- Work with other relevant stakeholders to represent and collate requirements that Quantify customers will have when migrating to Conversa
- Input into product governance and providing reporting as required
- Be a leading proponent of a best practice product culture
- Continually seek ways to streamline the portfolio and gain efficiencies in ways of working
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
Essential:
- Educated to degree level or relevant business experience
- At least 5 years successful track record in software product management, managing products from inception through to launch and in-life management
- Significant experience in producing product business cases and of writing detailed product requirements
- Significant experience and understanding of enterprise contact centre telephony and applications or significant experience and understanding of voice recording
- Knowledge and understanding of how enterprise is driving insights and business outcomes through AI and machine learning
- Ability to project plan and execute on tasks with a high degree of attention to detail
- Highly developed communication skills
- Significant experience the software development lifecyle and agile working
- Strong influencing skills and ability to work cross functionally to gain buy in and support from Red Box functions in executing on release activities
